hi, I'm Megan
I'm a registered nurse with more than 20 years experience helping people navigate their health. I've worked in emergency, intensive care, and now in primary care and nursing leadership.
One thing I've learned is that most people don't struggle because they don't care about their health.
They struggle because healthcare can be confusing.
Medical appointments move quickly. New diagnoses, medications and lab results can leave people with more questions than answers. My goal is to help make those conversations easier to understand.
my approach
I believe good health education should be:
- easy to understand
- based on evidence
- practical for everyday life
- free of judgment
I don't believe you have to change everything overnight. I help people understand what's happening, why it matters and what small step to take next.
why i'm here
I believe everyone deserves to understand their own health. This website is designed to make reliable health information easy to understand, one question at a time.
Here you'll find articles, printable resources, and practical tips designed to make health information easier to understand.
No matter if you're trying to build healthy habits, understand a new condition, or just learn something new, I hope you'll find encouragement and clear answers here.
a little more about me
When I'm not working as a nurse, you'll usually find me reading, tending my garden, experimenting with sourdough or enjoying a quiet cup of coffee.
Those simple moments remind me that good health isn't built through perfection - it's built one small step at a time.
one last thing... the information here is for educational purposes only. It does not replace the advice of your healthcare provider. Every person's health is unique, so always talk with your own healthcare team about questions related to your care.
